Glendora Businesses Band Together!

In an effort to draw more business to Glendora Village, a number of local merchants have banded together to share contacts, build awareness, and lure customers to our brick and mortar stores.  In an environment of big box stores and Amazon orders, many Glendora businesses have seen a decline in foot traffic.  We have also realized that we do not know very much about our neighboring businesses.

In this way, Glendora Girl’s Night open house was born.  On Thursday, July 24th from 6p-8p, these 14 businesses are coming together for an open house at Simpson Portraits for an exclusive shopping and mingling event.  The brainchild of Annette Nemeth, owner of Glendora Interiors, this event is for local women to learn about the businesses in their back yards. Annette approached a number of merchants and hosted the first event in June. Over 100 women attended, and the second event promises to be even bigger.

“Women love to find that little gem of a business, that custom made item, and many of the businesses in Glendora Village do just that. Glendora Girl’s Night is a wonderful way to discover that merchant or service, that they didn’t even realize was in their back yard.  It’s also a great way for businesses to work together and truly become a village,” said Stephanie Simpson, owner of Simpson Portraits.
